The British Esports Federation has teamed up with connectivity provider RUCKUS Networks to support its National Esports Performance Campus in Sunderland, UK. Designated as the facility's Preferred Networking Provider, RUCKUS will implement advanced connectivity technology across the campus. This collaboration follows the British Esports Federation securing part of £5.7 million in funding last September aimed at enhancing 4G and 5G connectivity at the Stadium of Light football ground and the National Esports Performance Campus.
RUCKUS Networks will cater to the high-performance and security needs of the esports networks at the campus. Established in 2016, the British Esports Federation focuses on nurturing and promoting UK esports talent globally, developing esports curriculum and offering educational qualifications. The National Esports Performance Campus, the federation's home has undergone upgrades and expansion plans to foster the growth of the UK esports future. RUCKUS Networks, an American connectivity provider is part of CommScope brand portfolio, delivering hardware and software for its networks.
