The Indonesian Esports General Manager (PB ESI) announced the names of coaches for the Indonesian Esports National Team (Timnas) at the 2023 SEA Games. Through the announcement made via the garudaku.esi Instagram account, it was also revealed that these coaches would coach athletes in six numbers 2023 SEA Games competition.
The trainers for the Indonesian National Esports National Team who will be on duty have also gone through a selection process for two months, and have conducted interviews at least twice with various components of the national team.
Meanwhile, one of the trainers is Bjorn Ong alias Zeys for the Men's Mobile Legends: Bang-Bang (MLBB) number.
It was previously reported that the EVOS Legends trainer would train the MLBB Esports National Team at the 2023 SEA Games. Moreover, Zeys did not appear on the latest EVOS Legends roster for MPL Indonesia Season 11.

The Indonesian Esports National Team for the 2023 SEA Games will soon be announced after the announcement date was finally announced. This happened when the Secretary General of PBESI, Frenky Ong, revealed this on Instagram Story.
For the sake of the results of the 2023 SEA Games which are much better than before, preparations for the formation of the esports national team for the six branches that are contested are much longer than the two previous SEA Games which were tight.
Preparation must be very thorough in order to bring a gold medal and make Indonesia proud on the international stage, therefore in selecting the best athlete, PBESI has selected coaches and athletes who take part in the national selection, so that in the end they will be selected and immediately undergo national training.

From the documents provided by Frengky, the National Selection was attended by a total of 102 athletes from six branches, which the Men's MLBB, Valorant, and Crossfire took part on February 3 – February 13. PUBGM Solo and Squad on 10 February – 27 February 2023. Lastly is MLBB women on 15 February to 19 February 2023.
Until now, esports has won 2 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze at the Hanoi 2021 SEA Games. Then, at the IESF World Championships which took place in Bali in December 2022, Indonesia managed to become the overall champion.
